Trackless Conveyor Systems- TRANSCAR

Transcar from Telelift is a battery-powered automatically guided conveyor. A central master computer monitors the system with the aid of infrared communicators, transmitters and receivers. The electronic control system can be easily integrated into complex logistics systems comprising several computer levels, such as for storage administration. And thanks to its safety features, employing Transcar in areas used by staff with conventional carts is completely safe.
HOSPITAL SYSTEMS




Transcar lightens the workload of staff at hospitals such as SMZO-Vienna. A container with a capacity of up to 400 kg is attached to the low-profile towing vehicle, which can transport meals, laundry, refuse, medication, sterilized materials, etc. from ward to ward. The vehicle is even able to function independently: It can operate elevators and washing machines and open fire doors. Other tasks such as weighing the load or cleaning the container can also be permanently integrated into the transportation process. Of course, spontaneous transports are possible at any time in addition to the preprogrammed route.
INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS


At factories and other industrial operations, Transcar can travel at higher speeds, either as the low-profile towing vehicle or with a superstructure: A standard-sized container, a lift table or a roller conveyor can be added for handling heavy loads. This allows a greater level of flexibility and reliability for transport tasks, the optimization of processes and a decrease in workload. Furthermore, the storage, ordering, production and shipping departments will all function at a higher level of productivity.

Rail Conveyor Systems - UNICAR/MULTICAR

Telelift´s conveyors are driven along a network of rails which can extend to each and every corner of a building. This provides a number of advantages: The system´s elements, which include straightaways, curves, bends, diverters, etc., are adaptable to a building´s specific layout, and the track can be laid horizontally or vertically, or even suspended. The computerized control system permits the performance of complex transport logistics tasks, and custom solutions can be developed to satisfy any and all needs.
MAJOR PRINTING PLANTS


Unicar hauls printing plates through the 200-meter plant which is home to Mediaprint and its row of printing presses. These sensitive plates are hung on specially designed holders. The wide variety of container types (which have been designed for specific uses) are also suitable for retail stores, laboratories, hospitals and administrative offices. The proven result will be a considerable increase in efficiency at low investment costs.
LIBRARIES



Even in older buildings such as the National Library in Vienna´s Hofburg, Unicar can be easily adapted to the existing architecture. Fragile materials such as antique books are transported gently in the special swiveling containers. As a result, the time required for books and other printed materials to travel from the stacks to the checkout desk or the reading room can be shortened from an entire day to a few hours.
MID-SIZE INDUSTRY


Depending on the specific model, Multicar can be used to transport up to 50 kg at a time. A variety of open or closed containers, some of which swivel, make it possible to keep the load in a constant position, regardless of the rail´s path. Thanks to the rails´ tight turning radius, these systems can be employed in any type of building.
