ELECTROACOUSTICS

It pays to work well as a team. For a number of years, Sumetzberger has represented TOA in Austria, and the level of our success can be heard as clear as a bell.

THEATER ACOUSTICS

It takes a little bit of special magic to make thunder crash on command. Whether at Vienna's State Opera House, the Burgtheater, or at the Bregenz Festival, a TOA digital mixing console can store all your sound effects and settings and play them back during the performance as if by magic.

AUDIO-VISUAL EQUIPMENT

At slide shows and in movie theaters and rooms for seminars, speeches, training sessions, etc., various kinds of equipment are often crammed into a relatively tight space. TOA's multimedia control system does a great deal to simplify the most complex tasks: Only a single remote control unit is needed for large-screen, slide or overhead projectors, video recorders, CD players, all other kinds of playback equipment, and even the room´s lights or shutters. To put it briefly: you can control the entire room with one hand.

CONFERENCE EQUIPMENT

A TOA staff paging system is an indispensable part of one of the most modern conference centers in the world. Several priority levels ensure that important announcements are always broadcast first. Background music or prerecorded announcements can be played from one of ten signal sources. If necessary, announcements can also be broadcast to a total of 150 areas simultaneously.

AUDITORIUMS, CHURCHES, etc.

Certain buildings such as churches often present unique problems for sound systems: All equipment must be installed as carefully as possible without disturbing the architectural features, and the speaker's voice must be clearly understandable despite the height and depth of the space. This also applies to large halls and auditoriums, which often present an additional challenge: Depending on the type of event, sound may be broadcast to a certain area only. For times when space is at a premium, professional amplifier systems can combine maximum output and minimum size.

SCHOOL SYSTEM 2000

There's a whole new sound in some Vienna schools these days: Shrill, annoying bells have been replaced by modern TOA p.a. systems for signaling the ends of periods, for announcements or in case of emergency. Even the telephone and central clock units are connected directly to the system. In addition, TOA systems have been installed in gymnasiums, conference and seminar rooms, and libraries.

RENTALS

When a system is needed for a short period of time or a one-time event, Sumetzberger also rents single units, megaphone sets and mobile amplifier systems. These systems are suitable for a wide variety of uses, from a visit by the Pope to inspections of construction sites, from demonstrations, political rallies, advertising events, trade fairs and sporting events to natural disasters. Megaphones are mobile, weather-resistant, and have a long range.
